First let me thank you for your interest and or participation in being a boat captain in previous years for the Hooked on Decatur. The impact your contribution has made is not measurable and life changing without a doubt.
As a purple heart recipient myself, I can say that this is one event that many veterans look forward to every year. It has without a doubt been the largest combat injured veteran event in North Alabama and that would not be possible without your contributions.
I want to let everyone know that the Hooked on Decatur Tournament is scheduled for the 27th of May this year. We currently have around 25 Combat Wounded Veterans already registered. Not sure how many more we will get over the next few weeks. So we will need as many boat captain volunteers as we can possibly get.
