The Franklin County High School team of Connor Quin and Bryce White brought a five-bass limit to the scale Sunday weighing 14 pounds, 5 ounces to win the TBF 2014 Mississippi State High School Fishing Championship on Ross Barnett Reservoir.
The win qualified the team to compete in a future High School Fishing conference championship
The top 10 teams were:
1st: Franklin County High School – Connor Quin and Bryce White, five bass, 14-5
2nd: Magnolia Heights High School – Connor McNabb and Ryan Ware, five bass, 12-10
3rd: Mississippi Student Angler Federation – Ty Cox and Seth Shettles, five bass, 11-15
4th: Parklane Academy – Justin Reynolds and Camp Newcomb, five bass, 11-5
5th: Pearl River Central High School – Jack Stegall and Seth Mitchell, five bass, 8-11
6th: Parklane Academy – Cole Nunnery and Logan Morel, four bass, 6-15
7th: Pearl River Central High School – Chandler Dyle and Caroline Sampson, two bass, 6-2
8th: Pearl River Central High School – Austin Navarre and Justin Blansett, three bass, 5-13
9th: Houlka High School – Dillon Easley and Connor Davidson, three bass, 5-3
10th: Mississippi Student Angler Federation – Chandler Higginbottom and Brodi Pounds, three bass, 4-12
