A two-vessel crash occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, and resulted in a search for two missing boaters. The accident involved an aluminum fishing boat and a barge tugboat. UPDATE ON POST PAGE.

On August 31, 2021, the Wilson Lock floating wall, which guided boats into the primary lock, lost buoyancy, detached, and sank to the bottom of the reservoir. TVA’s interim guard wall solution was to install an interlocking system of three ocean barges and equipment.
