Two big-water smallmouth tournaments in a month, two championship trophies for Justin Lucas.
Powered by a limit of 19 pounds, 10 ounces of Lake Erie smallmouth, Lucas claimed the champion’s trophy and $160,000 payday Friday at the final FLW Pro Circuit Super Tournament of the season, out of Sandusky, Ohio.

Due to ecological, economic, and human health and safety concerns related to the potential impacts of nonnative animals, Alabama Administrative Code 220-2-.26 has been amended to prohibit any person, firm, association, or corporation from possessing, selling, offering for sale, importing, bringing, releasing, or causing to be brought or imported additional nonnative animals into the state of Alabama. The amended regulation is effective as of October 15, 2020.

The fourth stop of the Alabama Bass Trail North Division July 25 at Neely Henry Lake was an exciting win for the team of Adam Brown and Greg Diggs. The team planned to fish skinny water and ended up winning by the skinniest of margins.
FLW, the world’s largest tournament-fishing organization, is bringing its 2020 Toyota Series Southeastern Division to Wheeler Lake July 30-Aug. 1, 2020.
Hosted by Decatur Morgan County Tourism, the three-day tournament will feature bass-fishing pros and co-anglers who will be battling it out on the water for a top prize of up to $65,000, plus a $35,000 bonus if the winner is a qualified Phoenix Boat owner.
