Southern Fishing News Student Angler Series class January 23

Southern Fishing News will be presenting another finesse fishing class January 23 in Russellville, AL. The school fishing clubs that will be attending are from Russellville High School, Colbert Heights, Phil Campbell and Belgreen High School. Ron McDonald, Publisher and Editor of Southern Fishing News will be the instructor. Don Gowen, Decatur, AL, a Southern Fishing News staff member will be working with McDonald on this presentation.

The young bass anglers get to see and handle finesse fishing equipment and lures as well as learn about the advantages, whys, studentanglerserieslogosmalwhens and hows of the finesse tool in fun fishing and tournaments. McDonald also shares some special “Tips & Techniques”  with the class.

In addition to learning about finesse fishing, the fishing club members are also treated to some complimentary fishing products. Sponsors to date, in addition to Southern Fishing News, includes Slider Lures, Bass Minder, TTI-Blakemore and Dr. Irv’s Custom Baits.
