Another warm day for Shoals Youth Bassmasters competing on Wilson Lake. Fourty-six young anglers fished what started out as a cool, overcast day but and ended hot by weigh-in at 11:00 am. The youngsters were still able to bring in some good weights for four hours of fishing on a lake that has been pretty tough for bass fishing in August.

2nd Place Luke Mattox – 6 lbs. 9 oz.
3rd Place Ty Cobb – 6 lbs.
11 to 15 age group
1st Place Gracee Curtis – 13 lbs. 6 oz.
2nd Place Jacob Clifton – 10 lbs. 1 oz.
3rd Place Jackson Aaron – 9 lbs. 5 oz.
16 to 18 age group
1st Place Dustin Brewer – 10 lbs. 7 oz.
2nd Place Makenzie Henson – 7 lbs. 5 oz.
3rd Place Johnathon Peters – 4 lbs. 15 oz.
Jackson Aaron and Gracee Curtis each had a 4-13 largemouth, Jackson Aaron won lunker by a flip of coin.
