The University of North Alabama Cleans House with ACA Contingencies

The University of North Alabama team of Cody Harrison and Clint Fredrick finished second in the 10th Anniversary BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Presented by Cabela’s; however, the team was able to earn five additional cash prizes through the Association of Collegiate Anglers Contingency Programs.

These programs are designed to reward anglers for wearing sponsor logos on their jersey and using their product during the tournament. Harrison and Fredrick took full advantage of these programs and were able to ride home with loads of extra prize money.

While finishing in second, the duo racked up an additional $250 simply for wearing the Association of Collegiate Anglers logo on their team jersey. The incentive was offered through the Discounts and Incentives page, found on www.CollegiateBassChampionship.com.

Because the second place team of Cody Harrison and Clint Fredrick was also the highest finishing team to wear the BoatUS logo on their jersey, the team pocketed a $500 check for their efforts.

Did you know that by signing up for the BoatUS contingency, anglers will also get a membership to BoatUS at a 40% discount which will include a 1 year “Unlimited TRAILER ASSIST Roadside Assistance Membership” with 24/7 Dispatch for trailer breakdowns, flat tire assistance, lock-out service, jumpstarts and more for only $29? UNA’s Cody Harrison and Clint Fredrick finished second in the 10th Anniversary BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela’s; however, the team was able to earn five additional cash prizes.

“This is free money, all I had to do is make sure I wore the Costa hat and sunglasses and it wasn’t like we had to put any effort in to get it,” said Harrison. “We signed up for the BoatUS memberships actually the week before to prepare for the event just in case anything were to happen while we were on the water for the week, and luckily I haven’t had a problem to use the service, but we were still able to win $500!”

Harrison and Fredrick were very contingency conscious as seen so far, but the list of prizes keeps going for the UNA team. The team also wore Costa Sunglasses throughout the event, which means their pockets got a little heavier, $500 heavier to be exact. Harrison also wore a Costa hat earning the team an additional $500. Not bad for just wearing some of the best sunglasses on the market, right?

Many would say that $1,750 is a great payout just for wearing some sunglasses and a few logos on their jersey, but Harrison and Fredrick didn’t stop there! The team also wore the Cabela’s logo on their jersey and was the highest finishing team to do so, earning them another $250 for the Cabela’s Contingency Program making the team’s grand total of $2,000 solely in contingency money!

Since the duo was also the highest finishing team wearing Gemini jerseys, Harrison and Fredrick were awarded free matching jersey hoodies as part of the Gemini Contingency program to wear in the 2016 Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series!

Luckily for all college anglers, the University of North Alabama is not the only team that wins with Boats_US-Championship_logoGemini, in fact everyone can get a great deal for their next jersey with Gemini’s $49 jerseys!

“Most all these prizes came with very little effort on our part, all college anglers have to do is represent the company with their specified logo and go out and fish! The ACA makes it that easy!” exclaimed Fredrick. “Thanks to all the sponsors and people that make all this possible, and Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series for a great tournament.”

The UNA team has been one of the strongest competitive teams in the Cabela’s School of the Year rankings since its inception and has since set themselves up for even bigger success with the compliance of the many contingency programs the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series has to offer.

For next year’s jersey, be sure to add all of the Association of Collegiate Anglers Contingency Programs on you Gemini jersey. Don’t miss out during the 2016 Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, sign up for all of the contingency programs today!
