Slider Lures gets unsolicited emails from fishermen quite often. But a few of those fishing reports make you do a double take.
A couple of those “double takes” praised certain Slider Lures for their above and beyond their expectations.
Lonnie Best, Karrapolis, NC sent a letter rather than an email- more effort and of course postage.
Mr. Best wrote to tell Slider Lures about his recent experience using a Slider Original head and a watermelon-colored Slider Crappie Grub with a chartruese tail.

Best’s crappie weighed-in at 4.5 pounds. “It was for sure quite the catch,” the angler noted. He continued in his letter,
“Thank you for making such good, quality products. I can honestly say they are one of my favorites. I will gladly continue to use your products regularly.
We would expect that reaction having caught a near new state record crappie on the Slider products.
But, Mr. Best’s letter was followed by a letter from Tim Chapman, Kann, NC.

Must be something in the water in North Carolina.
Chapman says he caught the big, 3.5 lb. papermouth with a 1 1/2 inch Slider Crappie Grub, black with a chartruese tail. He says, “This is one of the best baits I have ever used and faithfully have used it for at least 15 years with great results.”
The big crappie angler says, “I always reccomend your Slider (lures) to my friends.
OK, we are blushing from these two letters raving about the Slider Crappie Grub’s effectiveness as a big crappie lure. And we don’t mind using such customer reports as an unabashed promotion of our products. But, we really appreciate such letters and emails from customers using our products.
