Priority Registration is underway now through August 14, giving returning teams first access before the field opens to new registrants Saturday. Spots are expected to move fast. The 2026 season sold out in minutes, and with the 2027 season bringing the biggest payouts in ABT Regular Team Trail history, demand is expected to be even higher.

First place at every divisional event now pays $20,000 guaranteed, up $5,000 from 2026, with total per-event payouts climbing to more than $83,400. The season culminates in a two-day Championship on Neely Henry Lake, October 15-16, 2027, with a $50,000 grand prize and $100,000 total championship payout on the line.

Registration is available under the Register tab at www.alabamabasstrail.org. The full 2027 Rules Overview is available at alabamabasstrail.org/2027-rules-overview.

Ms. Kay Donaldson, Director of the Alabama Bass Trail, will go live on social media at 5:15 a.m. CST Saturday, August 15, to cover registration opening in real time. Follow along on Facebook and YouTube @alabamabasstrailtv for live updates as teams secure their place on the trail.
