Do you fish weeds — like right in the middle of the weed bed? You probably use a swim jig, frog, or a weightless worm, or a soft plastic jerkbait. Well, here’s another option you need to try — we call it the “weed dozer.”

This lure will plow right through weed beds like they are not even there. It works best when the weeds are around six to eight inches out of the water. And, this lure is not new.
The lure is the original Ledgebuster spinnerbait. This big boy is designed to fish deep drops and ledges and is effective at 20 feet down. Sizes run from 3/4 oz. to one and a half ounces. Big single blades trail the head.
We have used the one-ounce version with a long, a War Eagle skirt, and a willowleaf blade on braided line and have caught bass out of thick weeds over and over, even in shallow water areas.

This is no exaggeration — the Ledgebuster comes through weeds like they are not even there.
