The South Division reached the midway point at the Alabama River- Cooter’s Pond. The river system has seen an abundance in water and current from recent rains.

The Shoals Youth Bassmasters Trail has announced the 2022 schedule of tournaments.

Fifty-three of the most outstanding high school anglers from across the country have been named to the 2022 Bassmaster High School All-State Fishing Team presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors.

CULLMAN, Ala. — When Will Haynes and Austin Thomas found the food, they found enough bass to catch a 13-pound, 8-ounce limit that delivered a narrow victory at the Abu Garcia Bassmaster High School Series at Lewis Smith Lake presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors.

Will Haynes and Austin Thomas of Curry High School have won the Abu Garcia Bassmaster High School Series at Lewis Smith Lake presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors with a total of 13 pounds, 8 ounces.
