SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 2, 2020) – The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops is the longest-running collegiate bass fishing tournament in the history of the sport. Designed to give student anglers a platform to fellowship and compete on a national stage, the Association of Collegiate Anglers’ premier event has been held on some of the best bass fishing lakes in the country. For the 2021 edition of this great tournament, the Championship will be contested on Lake Murray in South Carolina May 26-27.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 31, 2020) – Over the past few weeks, the amount of social media posts and traffic from the young student anglers is staggering. We are being sent fish catch pictures, tagged in posts, and receiving mentions daily as many of you are adhering to social distancing warnings and continuing to fish at the same time. The Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) now wants to introduce the “ACA Online Tournament” for anglers to participate in as they go on their daily fishing adventures while social distancing.

Alabama — Waterkeepers Alabama, a new coalition of Waterkeeper organizations protecting watersheds across Alabama, has launched its website. The new website waterkeepersalabama.org features an interactive map of 10 Waterkeepers’ patrol areas so that anyone can report pollution to the right Waterkeeper and support their clean water advocacy.
Being outside is good for our health, reduces stress and can provide a family with fun activities for hours.
