The Shoals Youth Bassmasters, a Northwest Alabama youth club, fished their second tournament of 2023 on a cooperative Wilson Lake out of the Lock Six ramp on June 10. Fifty-eight young anglers brought bags of bass to the scales at 11:00 AM.

The 2023 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops on May 26 is in the books. The Association of Collegiate Anglers’ 18th annual National Championship awarded over $30,000 in prizes and contingencies, crowned a National Champion, and named a number one team in the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year.
