Fifty-one young anglers hit the water May 17th at First Creek, Wheeler Lake. A slow steady rain welcomed the young anglers and their adult boat captains that are often parents. The May 17th tournament was the first event of the 2014 season so a little rain could not dampen the spirits of these “hardcore” youth anglers.
Several nice bass were caught by many of the contestants. The photos above show the proof. Also pictured are the winners of the Wheeler tournament.
