Youth First Places went 43.56 Pounds

The Shoals Youth Bassmasters final tournament of the 2021 season on Pickwick was a winner. The trophy winners in each of the three age divisions weighed-in 43.56 pounds of Pickwick bass.

Fifty-four youth anglers competed in the final event of the year launched from MsFarland Park under cloudy skies soon followed by sprinkles. The bottom fell out shortly after the awards and picnic was finished.

The cloudy skies did not slow down Kase Goodwin (10 and Under), Bree Odeneal (11 to 15), and Joseph Kawalec from boating bass. Each weighed-in 17-5, 13-6 and 12-4 respectively. Ansley Fritts took the tournament big fish honors with a 4-13 smallmouth
